Mark Lukkarila

Mark is the Technical Services Manager for GCC of America located in Denver, Colorado. Mark has over 22 years of experience in the concrete, cement, masonry, shotcrete, and aggregate industries. Mark is a geologist with extensive experience in petrographic analysis, cement and hydration chemistry, concrete troubleshooting, concrete and masonry mortar mixture proportioning, shotcrete, and masonry. He is actively involved in ACI and ASTM. Mark is a voting member of ASTM main committees C1 (cement), C9 (concrete and aggregate), and C12 (masonry). He is the Chairman of ASTM C 9.46 (shotcrete) and the chairman of ACI 221 (Normal and Heavyweight Aggregates). Mark is also a voting member of ACI committees 506 (shotcrete), 524 (plastering) and 225 (hydraulic cements). Mark is a certified shotcrete nozzleman and is an approved examiner and educator for the ACI shotcrete nozzleman certification program.
